Activities and Events for the Local Community

PEEP
We run a very popular programme of activities following the PEEP curriculum (peeple.org.uk) for pre-school parent/carers and their children, from babies to toddlers. 

PLAY AND STAY
During the school holiday's we run various groups providing activities for parents and carers and their children during school holidays.

BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
At different times in the year we run a support group for Breastfeeding Mum's.

TEAM FIT
This is weekly popular group where the aim is to keep fit and have fun together. There are options for parents and children.

REFRESH
A weekly group for mothers and their children to have the opportunity to worship and fellowship together. 

MIND YOUR HEAD
In conjunction with the charity MIND, this is a group to support those with mental health issues.

LIGHTHOUSE
A support group for parents and carers with children with additional needs.

THE HUB
Friday nights - term time - a time for children of secondary school age to relax and socialise together. Also opportunities for learning about and exploring issues together.

CIRCUITS
A popular group for adults who want to keep fit and have fun together. This group has options for people of different abilities. All are welcome.

WHO LET THE DAD'S OUT
If it's time for Mum to have some rest, and for Dad to spend some more time with their children. This group provides fun and a break for children and their fathers through activities and giving Dads the opportunity to support one another.

TRAINING COURSES
Throughout the year we run various courses such as Alpha and 'The Bible Course'. These are opportunities to spend time with other people, to learn together and listen to each other.

CRAFT AND CHAT
A weekly group for older members to spend time with each other and work on craft activities together.

LUNCH AT THE CENTRE
A popular group that takes place monthly. Lunch is provided and a speaker on all kinds of interesting topics.

HOLIDAY BIBLE CLUB
A week long group that runs during the summer holidays. Opportunity for children of a school age to have fun together and learn about the Bible.

OPEN HOUSE
An opportunity for anyone to drop into the Church for coffee, chat, games and activities.

SPRING CONCERTS
Each year we host at least one concert, bringing together musicians and schools throughout the community for a festival of music.

UNDERSTANDING THE MEANING OF EASTER
As much as we love chocolate and Easter bunnies (and we do!), maybe there's more to Easter. This is an activity that provides an opportunity for primary school children to understand the Christian message of Easter.

YOUTHWORK
Lots of age specific groups for young people to have fun and receive support.
